This contract undertaken for Boulting PLC for the client Cargill in Manchester involved provision of scaffold at around 12-14m high around existing high level cable trays to allow installation of replacement high voltage cables around this large site. We worked with Boulting to provide the client with detailed 3 dimensional plans of how the would be once erected. This helped Boultings with their formal tender and subsequent negotiation on Health & Safety aspects of the works.
The scaffold included over 300lm of scaffold both hung from existing steelwork and also from ground upwards. This provided Boulting with safe access to install new high voltage cable and remove old redundant cables.
Both the end client and Boulting were extremely happy with the standard of scaffold provided ensuring no health and safety issues arose during the contract. Our men on site were also praised for their help and assistance at all times.
The Project Engineer at Cargill PLC said ‘I would like to thank you for all the work you have done for us. We (not only me but also others in the plant) are pleased with the work you have done. I am sure there will be other opportunities for us to work together again in the future’.
